Device not syncing steps

I went for a run today and on my heart rate profile, it is recorded.  However, I do not have the 5000 steps logged.   Any ideas what has happened?   Thanks

Hello @Mazey77 thank you for bringing this to my attention, let me give you a hand with your syncing concern and a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community!

 

Seems odd that only heart rate data was synced. For me to better assist you, can you please let me know if you experienced any syncing difficulties in the past? When this situation was experienced for the first time and how many times? I recommend you to uninstall the Fitbit app, reboot your mobile device and then reinstall it again. I'll be looking to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you. Somehow it seems to have sorted itself out later in the day. Must have been gremlins at work. Thanks for your help.
