I have followed all the trouble shooting guides, updated/verified app and Charge 2 software versions, reset/reboot Charge 2, resynced and fully charged my Charge 2. The green lights are flashing though they seem a little dimmed and I no longer get a heart rate reading.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting, seems odd that your Charge 2 is not recording heart rate data all of a sudden. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
