Devise does not record sleep before midnight

If I get up after midnight to get a glass of water or whatever, my  Charge 2 will only record sleep post midnight, even though I may actually have slept for 1-2 hours before awakening for a few minutes.

Did you check if that hour or 2 was credited to the day before?  Sleep is always credited to the day you wake up, so if you wake before midnight for long enough (no idea how long that takes), that gets credited to that previous day.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes, I do check and while it used to record sleep on the day before, it only does so sporadically. It does not seem to matter how much sleep I achieved prior to midnight.
