Hi all,
I have successfully been using my Charge 2 on an Oppo R17 Pro since February - currently running ColorOS CPH1877EX_11_A.16 . The Fitbit App is Firmware Version 22.22.55.2 which auto installed on 22 May.
Today I stopped receiving notifications on my Fitbit when I received text messages. I went in to the General settings and attempted to fix this and the notification screen won't load, it just throws me back to the dashboard. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and asked my Bluetooth to forget the device and then re-paired.
I also unpaired the device from the Fitbit app but couldn't get it to re-pair. I was getting the four digit code on my Fitbit screen but the phone app wasn't coming up with the screen to allow me to enter the four digits. It was just throwing me straight to the dashboard again. The only way I have been able to re-pair my device with the phone app is by doing it through the Fibit app and dongle on my PC. However this has not fixed the problem with my app. All settings can now only be altered through the PC app. This doesn't help me as I need to tell my phone app to send me notifications on my Fitbit when I receive a text message and the PC app doesn't allow you to do this.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I have searched for hours online and haven't been able to find a solution.

Hi @asha_76 thank you for bringing this to my attention, welcome aboard. I'm happy to assist you with your Charge device.
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this matter prior posting, I totally understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. Let me share with you that the Oppo R17 Pro is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern. Even though your mobile is not compatible, lets give it a try to our help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. If you're able to setup your Charge 2 again, check: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone for the notifications concern.
If by any chance you're still unable to use your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device or your computer as you already mentioned to avoid this situation.
I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks for your reply.
I haven't had any luck with your suggestions as yet despite my Fitbit app now upgrading to version 2.95
However last night and again this evening I've received the following notification (see screenshot below) from the Fitbit app on my phone so the app must realize there's a problem somewhere. Unfortunately restarting my phone does not fix the problem though 😞
