The brightness of the clock face of my Charge 2 started to fade and now is barely visible. How can this be fixed? No, it does not need charged.

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post, certainly the display of your Charge 2 isn't working as the way it was designed because with its brightness, your device display should be easy or enough to be read. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to try the below steps to restart your device:
