Ever since I’ve updated my iphone, I no longer receive any notifications on my Fitbit which is so annoying!

Was the update to iOS 13? If so, then there's a bug that's causing this issue. Fitbit are aware and are investigating. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates and recommendations:
