Seems to be a popular subject! Setting is at Normal, but the screen info is barely visible. I can only see what my current heart rate is, and nothing else. And that's only if the surrounding light is not very bright. Only had my Fitbit since June, so this is ridiculous.

Thanks for this - I just noticed the dim screen yesterday and tried your fix and it worked! Brightness was set on dim. Nice!
Best AnswerMine only has Auto and Normal. Neither one make a difference in the brightness. One post said to change it to Auto, so I did that, no luck. When I toggle it back to Normal, it gets bright for a few seconds, then almost impossible to read.
Have they done a fix yet? I see your post was from January. I had Charge 3 in May this year and it has done the same thing. I have tried the restart that hasn't worked.
Best AnswerThanks to you Kimpossiblenow, I can now see my screen 🙂 I went to settings on the watch and came across 'brightness' which was set to 'dim'. Goodness only knows how I'd tampered with that?!?! Anyway, it's fixed, hooray! I think Kimpossiblenow has the solution everyone.
Best AnswerCheck its not i Sleep Mode if it is and you've pressed that by accident its much dimmer! Happened to me - Sleep Mode is where DND is 🙂
Best AnswerThe sleep icon was selected. I unselected it and now I can see my screen. And tapping the screen to wake it up works again.
I just tried this and it worked. Thanks!
Best AnswerI’m also having an issue with the screen being very dim on the Charge 3. I also tried the ‘long charge’ suggestion and got the same results as you. Have you had any luck sorting it out since?
Best AnswerI’m having the same issue with the dim screen on my Charge 3 and am curious if you eventually got a replacement?
Best AnswerYes I did! My advice is to keep pushing for a replacement. I challenged them when they initially refused saying I’d have the same issue with a new one. I replied asking why they continued to sell them in that case, surely they shouldn’t be doing so. I was then offered a replacement!
good luck!
