I can’t read the display. It’s too dark? I can’t find a location to change the background or the display.

Thank you for your reply @Dan1212, I'm sorry to see that it wasn't possible to resolve the problem with the display, and  thanks again for all the feedback that you've provided.

No problem @Xray1😁

Hi, thank you for your inquiry @tracibiker

Could you please provide a few extra details? Let me know if you're trying to find the display settings to adjust the brightness or if you're trying to change the clock face.

Let me know what are the options that you see on the Settings app of your Fitbit device.

I'll be around.

ok, if this is a best answer, how do you change it to "normal setting"?

saying sorry, we're aware its not bright enough does not address the sudden change from readable to too dim to read.  is there a fix for that?

using the above methodology, the screen does brighten to barely readable.  Yet the smiley face changes to a clearly "normal" level of brightness.  Then when you reconnect is, it goes to the medium brightness, being:

-low brightness, what i was experiencing, barely readable, not practical

-medium brightness, what it is now,

-normal brightness, what it should be, and what the smiley face is momentarily, and what it started as.

Hi there,

I am having the same dark screen issue with my charge3.  It started a few months ago with being unable to read the display during the day, now it can't even be read at night in a dark room.  I have tried all your 'fixes' to no avail.  The watch still connects to the app and the app data works fine, I just can't see anything on the screen. Kinda pointless now I'm having to wear 2 watches or leave the fitbit at home.

Anyother ideas on how to fix?
Thanks
