I have just had to return my Charge 3 after only buying it on 3/11/18.
Display stopped working for no apparent reason. Store Tech said he had never seen it happen before. So replaced it. So not impressed.

Hello,
yes it did work so there is a problem after time using the analogue clock. Surely this needs to be sorted by Fitbit as have now read a lot of issues with the same issue? Thank you so much for the advice

I have had my display go out a couple times and do not use the analogue clock face. I have always been able to get the display back by either a reset or changing the clock face (and then changing it back). So, it may not be an issue on what clock face you are using.

Second display drop. Second restoration with a forced restart.

I had nothing to loose so I tried again, still had a white line, tried a third time and viola! Up and running again yay!

Mine quit working today when I tried to select an exercise as I was about to start my run. Could not get it to restart using the suggestion of plugging it in to charge and holding the button for 8 seconds. After reading about the clock face I tried that, and it worked. I hope it was just a small glitch and does not happen often.

I've had my Charge 3 for a month. My screen went blank last night. I tried the fix this morning and it worked! I'm so happy because I didn't want to have to return it.

Mine stopped scrolling down to let me look at data (steps, stairs, minutes exercised, etc.) and this worked for me except one thing was different. I had it connected to the charger correctly, and I never did get the battery icon (because I still had 50% battery?) but when I pressed and held the button for several seconds, it started working again.

Wasn’t working either but took your advice and it came right back with the smiley face. Thanks! I was hoping I wouldn’t have take my Fitbit back! 😊

Hi. My fitbit was working fine then suddenly the display stopped working. I tried the restart process - It doesn't work. I bought the device end of January/ beginning of February 2019.
Could someone help please?

It's happened two more times now, where it stopped scrolling down and I had to push the side button for several seconds. The second time, it came back like the first time. The third time, I fought with it for a while before it came back. If it keeps doing this, I'm returning it. For what the Charge 3 costs, I expect far better than what I've gotten so far.

I so totally agree. These gadgets are not cheap. Fortunately mine has been behaving for a while now after a couple of weeks of frustration.
