Display steps on Charge 2

When I push the button on my  Charge 2 to see the steps, they appear for a split second but then my heart rate displays.  I can't read the steps that fast.  How do I get it to slow down so I can see how many steps?

Let me help you with your step display. Are you seeing this on the clock face or when you are using an activity mode. If it is the clock face then you can use a different one that shows more data. If it is during an exercise mode then you can tap the screen to scroll through the different items.
