Distance shows N/A

Hello Andrew,

I was just gifted a fit bit Charge HR and I love it!  I went for a nice long run, but for some reason, when I logged into the website, the distance shows N/A. 

Can you help me get this sorted? 

I really need to see the distance I run every time.

Hi, @djmurray., if you got that information from this thread, you were reading information about a different Fitbit (Charge HR).  With trackers that have a button you can amend an activity tracked as a "workout" to "hike" and then distance will show.  The Alta HR, as you know, has no button.

For activites tracked by SmartTrack, distance will NOT show no matter what the name.

If you want distance you will need to have your phone with you and track your walk via the app: go to your exercise log, click the stop watch icon, and choose "track".  Your steps will be taken from your Fitbit and your distance from your ohone's GPS.  You will have a map of your walk when you sync.

I use the canned run distance feature it stopped working July 23rd and sleep feature changed also? Very strange. Distance is the only one I care about.
