Hi,
I’ve been using my Charge 2 for a couple of years. Lately it seems to have lost the ability of auto-tracking exercise. Sometimes it does, sometimes not, and sometimes only half the exercise being done.
When I have tried to log the activity manually instead the app doesn’t find the activity specified anymore, such as “run” or “weights”. They seem to have disappeared from the app.
However, if I choose to log i.e. “Bodyweight training” instead, it then show some the pulserates I’ve hadn’t during the time I’ve been exercising, even though it hasn’t tracked the activity in the first place...
So in conclusion seems my questions are:
1) Why doesn’t my fitbit auto-track activity anymore (completely or partially)?
2) Why have certain types of activities disappeared from the manual search function in the app?

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not recording your activities and your app not finding your activities. Which activities are you doing and for how long? Your device detects activities based on the motion on your arm. The automatic detection is a feature called SmartTrack. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your device detects the motion and record the activity itself, once an Elliptical activity is saved on your account it should show on the Recent Exercise area. If your heart rate is high but there isn't much motion (yoga, weight lifting, etc.) then these activities will be difficult to be detected by your device. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account or use the activity mode on the device itself.
Regarding the activities not showing, this is odd as the ones you mention do show on my own app (on Android) and are fairly common ones that most users use on a daily basis. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.
