Hi, I believe that there should be a skiing shortcut which would track my distance, speed and heart rate as well as height descended.
Furthermore, it should be an automatic tracker which I would be able to start from my Charge 2 in exercise shortcuts.
Thanks

I agree. I would love this feature. It shouldn't be hard to add it either.

Try using bike tracker, it should give similar results in that it tracks where you are, etc.
It would just be nice to have an activity tracker specifically for skiing though

The Ski Tracks app works great, have been using it for a few years. Logs all your runs, vertical skied, speed and if you want you can play back your runs on google earth. I have my last 3 years of skiing in the app. p.s. remember to stop recording at the end of the day, it showed me going 65mph which was in the drive home!

Hello I would love to know how you found this app, I can't seem to find skiing apps anywhere and I would love this one! I'd really appreciate the help, thanks!

I just went into the App Store and verified if you search on “ski tracks” it should show up, the icon is a blue snowflake. I see there is a lite version as well for free you can try. I don’t remember if I tried the lite version before purchasing the full version.

I know this is an older post, but I was having the same problem with the Ionic still not having a skiing activity.
I've been using Ski Tracks to record my skiiing for a couple of years now, so I've just finished creating a web service to import Ski Tracks runs into Fitbit as activites. If you've used Ski Tracks you just need to export the session as a SKIZ file and the service will do the rest.
The Fitbit API doesnt allow me to upload the GPS data, so instead the service bundles all the runs as TCX files and allows you to download them as a ZIP file.
SkiTracks to Fitbit Importer Please let me know if you find it useful

Sorry, I'm new to Fitbit! Do you mean an app for your phone that tracks skiing or an app for the Fitbit? If it's for the Fitbit, how does one download or get an app for Fitbit? I have the Charge 2.
Thanks...

Will I be able to use the service with Ski Tracks Lite while I try them both out or will I need to upgrade to the full Ski Tracks app?

I’m trying to use this - it uploads the file, tells me what runs are there, and then when I click save, it just loads a blank screen. What's it meant to do at this point?

Hi Tomxr. Please remove the "Solved" from all answers. It currently gives people the false impression that fitbit has a ski activity. Wishing fitbit would solve it, that is not a solution.
