The Fitbit Charge 3 does not accurately track steps and miles using Elliptical. Very disappointing.

It's too bad. My first Fitbit One got flushed down the toilet the first week I had it. They replaced it at no charge, to my amazement, back when it was a new and growing business. I suspect I'm not going to get the same level of support this time.

Wanted to update you on my quest to make this thing work. I ordered a Fitbit One on Ebay today and have to pay more for a used one than I paid for my new one when I bought it 6 years ago. But I also tried attaching this Charge to my shoelace prior to doing my daily elliptical and treadmill routine. Guess what! It counted the steps! I went from about 1800 to 8000. I'm probably going to try to sell it though because I still prefer the One. I don't need notifications, real time pulse, etc. Just count my steps, please.

I gave up and bought a garmin. So much more accurate in every way.
