Can you post a screen shot?

It's not my fitbit. It's my wife's.  She's not comfortable sending her email address. It's a bar accross the top if the screen post for daily progress. A red triangle on the left.. asking for account verification,  and her email address.

Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.

Sorry,  I  can't. It's actually my wifes fitbit. She's not comfortable sending her email address.  A snap shot would show it. It's a light red bar accross the top of the daily progress screen. A little red triangle on the left side. Rewuesting account verification to her email address.  Doesn't respond to her actions to rectify....

Same here.

Home Dashboard says, "Email verification requirement for <EmailAccount>" in a red bar across the top with a red "!" in a triangle to the left of the message.

Click on the red bar, it take me to the "Verify Account" page.  Middle of the page has the button to "Resend Verification Email".

Click the button and a pop-up message from the bottom of the screen in black background, white text says "Email verification service could not complete your request.  Please try again later."  After about 3 seconds, it disappears.

Please help.

FYI ...

Things I've already tried.

1) Log out and back in.  Same message on home page

2) Unstill Fitbit app, and reinstall.  Same message on home page.

Problem Solved (for me).

Even though the Fitbit app indicated the email verification could not be sent, I notified I received the email verification within my email.  Once I clicked on the verify button in the email body, it solved my problem.

Same here, but I am hesitating to follow through. Why is it asking for verification now. I've had my account for 5 months? Thoughts anyone?

@Dodgeman  Our team is currently investigating why email verification could not be completed. We know that some users may click the red email verification banner in the app and get an error that says "Email verification could not complete your request. Please try again later." I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

@JJ2mom I'm not sure why you suddenly received the verification email request. Did you recently update the app or did it just appear?

@Cornholio Glad to hear you are back on track.

@SunsetRunner Good to see you!

My husband had this issue with his and his finally went away after about 2 1/2 weeks. Yesterday suddenly for no reason and out of the clear blue, it appeared on my app and no matter how many times I verify my email address the red banner won't go away

I just received this message, and I have been a user (with the same email address) for nearly three years. I am loathe to click on the red button within my email message. Too many scams, especially during the holidays.

Mine sends me on a massive loop, sends the email, I click verify, it takes me to the app dashboard and the verify notification is still there! Getting really frustrated with my fitbit versa some insight would be greatly appreciated
