I purchased a new Charge 3 and received it yesterday after hearing that Fitbit has activated a new feature that enables it to estimate blood oxygen levels during sleep. I made the switch from another Fitbit watch that I'd been wearing for a couple of weeks. How do I enable Sp02/blood oxygen monitoring/estimation on Charge 3?

I don't know if the following will help anyone, but just in case it does...
I have the oxygen variation information for my Charge 3. I was talking to a friend who thought they didn't have it, but it turned out they were looking in the wrong place. From the Today start page, below the graphic with steps, stairs etc, touch the place just below that says how long you slept (not the + sign).
This goes to the sleep screen. There's a bar chart of your sleep scores at the top, and below is a series of horizontal bars showing the sleep pattern and length for each night. Touch one of those bars.
This opens a new screen for the night you touched. Scroll quite a long way down that page, below the graphic of sleep stages and the bar chart of length of sleep stages, and there on my screen (and my friend's screen) is the graph of estimated oxygen variation. Of course, I can't say whether this will work for you.

Sadly, it’s not there for me but thank you for the detailed explanation

Fitbit support: "Thanks for getting back to us. As of this time, we do not have an exact time frame on when it'll be available. Please let us know if you have further questions and we'll gladly help." (In a robotic tone)

Some tech in the geek-tank accidentally bumped the io for the sensor and has been whistling up and down the hall for days waiting for someone else on the team to push an update that would bump back his mistake. Apparently that was last night... O2 sensor and graphs back on this AM, at least for me... not sure why this wasn't seen as a global thing. Cheers!

I have no clue why, maybe because my original post gained quite some traction, but a couple of days after posting my comment the blood oxygen estimation started working. Magic.

Mine has been going on and off. Today I was super interested and of course it is off. The days it is off-then I am unable to see the reports from the days it is in. So frustrating.. I am try to make changes to my sleep habits in hopes that I improve the oxygenation report. When it is not functioning I have to put my changes on hold. I want to specifically see if any particular change helps-so I can’t move forward with changes until the app function reappears. Today is 2-17-20

I finally solved my Versa 2 Estimated Oxygen Variation graph problem (meaning I’ve never gotten it) by taking my watch off, putting it back on the shelf, and putting my Apple Watch back on. I’m so done with Fitbit. I will wait to see if Google gets Fitbit back on track (if that deal actually ever closes), but right now Fitbit is not the company it was 3 years ago. Still waiting for my Dim Charge 3 to be fixed “soon” (over 6 months waiting so far). So disappointed in how they squandered their opportunity to be first with working SPO2 on a wearable. Once Apple adds SPO2 it’s game over.

Same tracker version here, but I think it is more an app thing than a tracker firmware issue. Because Fitbit only allows one tracker on an account at a time (a whole other annoying frustrating Fitbit topic), I currently have my Versa 2 connected to my account, not my Charge 3. Funny thing is I see no red lights at night on my Versa but when I have my Charge 3 all charged up the red light is flashing at night but NO EOV graph on my account.

@JonDavidLI can't find some of your previous posts here. Is fitbit censoring our messages? I know we cannot talk anything bad about them (especially about lawsuits or product recalls).

Mine is up! Hopefully for good - it has been on and off. Can see the old reports on the days it was done. Here is what it looks like for those waiting. Does the premium subscription gets you more insights? This is what I see-non premium.
