Enable Blood Oxygen Estimation on Charge 3?

I purchased a new Charge 3 and received it yesterday after hearing that Fitbit has activated a new feature that enables it to estimate blood oxygen levels during sleep. I made the switch from another Fitbit watch that I'd been wearing for a couple of weeks. How do I enable Sp02/blood oxygen monitoring/estimation on Charge 3?

The problem with "playing it safe" is that they (Fitbit) have been toying with their customers. What if it were Apple who did something like this? How many people would switch to an Android? There are better and more efficient ways to "roll out" an experiment instead of giving it to select users, then taking it away without explanation.

I just got mine 5 days ago. My EOV screen has been there from day one but has no Data.  I just called Customer Support to find out what's going on and after reading many things from his screen he said it's only for Premium Members. I don't think that's correct.  For the people that are getting the Data, do you see RED lights "ON" in the back of your Charge 3?  These are the sensors for the EOV.  Mine are not on. I get the "Green" light for the Heart Rate but no Red Lights.

Red lights? That sounds like a rumor getting started. Can anyone confirm
that it should be red?

My EOV data just showed up this morning and yes, I now have the Red Lights ON. They are together with the Green Light.  What I did: Yesterday I "RESET/REBOOT my Pulse 3.  Scroll to "Settings / About / Reboot Device - press the Check mark and this will reset without loosing any data.

Just after I sent the previous post I noticed the Red Lights are no longer On.  Bear in mind I just woke up 15 minutes ago so they must be on only during sleep.   It's too bad Fitbit doesn't have any good information on this subject.

I first saw my graph yesterday, but it was gone today.  I updated the iPhone app, rebooted the phone and it is back.  At least for now.

Good luck

Same with me.  I had it for most of Feb and it mysteriously disappeared.  Its why I hate cloud stuff that automatically happens.

I just discovered that my oxygen saturation was tracked last night for the very first time, and I wanted to THANK YOU, Fitbit for providing this service to me!   I am very grateful for the information.  I hope it continues from now on.  If it does, it was worth every penny I spent on the Fitbit.  The alternative is a sleep study for much more $ and you have to sleep in a clinic which is a horrible experience.  I am even more appreciative of this service since the fluctuations be were low which proves I do not have sleep apnea and that's all the sleep study would have found.  So, again, thank you 😍

Today!  Today I got the blood oxygen saturation graph.

It's not tracking your oxygen saturation per se.  It is tracking the change (variation) in your oxygen saturation.  In other words, your actual level may be poor, but if it is consistently poor and doesn't vary it will show as good in the graph.
It's not a substitute for a sleep study.   Once you know if you are getting adequate oxygen, the graph can help you determine changes over time.

Hello all.... In my app, at the bottom of my sleep graph, I see where this
graph should be. It's there. But it's not tracking... The graph is empty.
Anybody else??

My Charge 3 did have red lights. Now only green and the Estimated blood oxygen graph is no longer there. Old data still shows but missing for the last 3 days

March 23rd

Both the red lights and the oxygen graph are back and working !

This thread will never end and fitbit will never answer.

I had the EoV graph for a while. But it has stopped for the last 2 days. Nothing. Just empty. This is not a professional user experience at all.

I went back and saw that this was available to me before now, but I didn't
know to look for it. You are right. My level was low, and a couple of
nights it did spike up, but only once in the night. I am able to forward
the sleep/awake graph, but not the oxygen saturation graph. That is a
feature that I would like so I can show it to my doctor at some later date
and ask her about it... Because as you point out to me, I don't know what I
am looking for.
Thank you for the information.

The Oxygen Variation chat does not show oxygen saturation, only the variation in saturation.   Your absolute level can be poor and if it stays that way the fitbit will record the variation as good because there was no change.

I had my EoV graph back after I reboot my Fitbit Charge 3 device. After rebooting the fitbit device, the next day the graph starts to work again.

I had the blood oxygenation levels for a few weeks, but now it has disappeared. I use a Fitbit Charge 3 and now am taking advantage of the premium subscription offered to me. Since I took advantage of the subscription is when the oxgenation data disappeared. What's up?
