I saw and enjoyed the new function appearing in the app after an update about a week ago. However, after have seen it working for 1 day, the graph now stays empty. How can I get this to work again?

You can't.  Fitbit developers are deciding when to add and when to remove from individuals as they do their testing.  I never have seen it at all yet.

I have the same. It was showing readings since the beginning of January and now every one this past week is just blank.

Ive had the graph now for over a week, but its always been empty. 😡

Best Answer

I've had the empty graph for a day and then started seeing the data.

Mine graph showed up today and now has a graph back as far as 12/12/2019. I still believe this will be a premium feature just as the nighttime heart rate is.  I did pay a yearly rate for premium so that ad that flys up over the application for premium to go away and it did.

I can see graphs from over a week a go, but its fairly aggravating to have to pay a premium for features advertised on a watch I've already paid for.

Yes It is frustrating but I use the application and they were making it
difficult with the premium pushy advertising every time I opened the
application. Had to decide if I wanted to keep using fitbit and be
annoyed or pay

Yes! I had bought my first watch before the premium scam was released upon us. Very disappointed

Best Answer

Yes I got it in early February, now it's just blank.  Very poor.

Spoiler

My graphs are now blank also. The irony is I've been wanting to upgrade to a smart watch (from the charge 3) and have been back and forth on Fitbit or another brand that has the sensor. I had just decided I liked Fitbit graphs better and then they go away.  Thank goodness I didnt buy.  If this is going to be a premium feature, forget it.

Me and my wife have the charge 3.  Hers tracks, mine does not. Both have same updates...

Me too - blank for me.

I have a Charge 3 and have not subscribed to Premium and have this problem. I set my watch up on March 2nd and for four days the app showed a blank window for the Estimated Oxygen Variation. On March 7th, it started displaying data for that day but no data for the prior four days.Regardless, I was thrilled with the data and expected it to continue. However, it went away on Friday the 13th (coincidence?) and has remained blank ever since.

If FitBit is just collecting data and they expect to have outages, at least show the courtesy to tell us. I'm not going to quit wearing the watch, although this is the main reason I bought it. But, I am really upset with their lack of an explanation. Is that so hard for them to provide?

I was able to see the oxygen variation graph for a few weeks until March 22nd. Then it became blank and I don't if it was exactly the same day or a couple of days before that, I had started Fitbit premium trial. I feel like starting the premium trial screwed it up for me. When I contacted Fitbit support, they gave me some generic advice like restart device, reinstall app, delete app data, etc. Nothing helped. Now the latest generic response is "it's an ongoing issue and we are trying to resolve it". I tried Android app on my Pixel 3 as well as iOS app on my iPad, it's the same. Even when I login to the website I see blank graphs after March 22nd. So it's definitely not app specific. It's so frustrating because I don't know if it's a software issue or the sensor on my Charge 3 broke. Fitbit is not helping me figure it out either. When I explicitly asked if it was a sensor issue or software issue they still give me the same generic response "it's an ongoing issue". But what kind of issue?!

Since COVID-19 impacts breathing and blood oxygen I suspect it is disabled as to not be used as a diagnostic tool. Mine went away about a week ago and I miss that feature.

This graph worked for me for the past month or so and all the sudden has been empty since last week. I am a premium subscriber and it appeared to work after becoming premium but as I stated last week it suddenly stopped populating and the graph is blank every night. All other sleep score data is captured.

Fitbit you need to at least respond to recognize that you are aware of the defect and that your dev teams are working on it. As others have stated this functionality is extra important with COVID-19 as seeing large variations in o2 saturation could be an early indicator of a possible problem.

Please let us know you are aware of the problem and please provide a fix for this asap!

This is an update to my post on 3/15/2020. On 3/20, the Estimated Oxygen Variation started working again, but I was not sure it would continue. It has now been 17 days and it is still working. Hopefully it will continue to do so.

I have an update... I don't know if this is all coincidence again, but within a day of posting on this forum, my estimated oxygen variation graph is back. I still see blank graphs for March 22nd to April 5th. Then for April 6th, I can see the graph again. 🤷🏽‍:female_sign:
