@Rcandelore Welcome to the Community.

Let me help you with your issue viewing your data. It sounds as if you can't see your data on your account not on your tracker, is this correct? If this is the case it could be that your tracker isn't syncing correctly? You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

If the issue isn't this could you share more information about it then? Do you see any error message? Could you share a screenshot of what you see on your app regarding sleep and exercises?

Let me know how it goes.

I understand all you’ve written. My question pertains to a single night gap in my sleep record. I slept fine, Fitbit in usual position, but no record. Even if I’ve only had a few hours I always get an acknowledgement.

I have been particularly appreciating the fitbit tracking my sleep patterns. Until yesterday morning when my charge 2 refused to download the sleep data. My phone downloaded the information from the Fitbit but still showed no sleep data. Steps yes, heart rate trace and resting heart rate, finally yes. But still no sleep data. The Fitbit battery was showing red anyway, so I put it on charge.
During the day it has tracked steps and exercise, and heart rate, but despite many deliberate sync times, still no sleep data.
I have tried restarting it. And then sync again. Restarted my phone, Sync again, still no sleep data.

Today, Tuesday, the sleep data for Tuesday morning downloaded just fine. THe sleep record shows every day up to and including Sunday and then Tuesday. It as if the night leading to yesterday morning didn't happen?
Is there something I am doing wrong?
Is it telling my my unit is faulty?

Suggestions please?
