I have been sent a new Fitbit as my last one broke. I've set up the new device and now need to return the faulty one. If I do a factory reset on the old one, will this delete all my data from my new watch and app?

There is no Factory Reset for a Charge 2 but you need not worry because all your current data remains in your Fitbit App.
