I’ve recently upgraded my Fitbit, I took my old Fitbit off my profile my removing the device and my new one is up and running but my old Fitbit hasn’t reset and hasn’t shown the Fitbit.com on screen, my daughter was going to have my old one however we can’t connect it for her as still looks like it’s got my data on ?? Tried a reset many of times but not working, my old fitbit definitely isn’t connected to my account so how can I fix this ?

Hi, and welcome to the Community!

There isn't a factory reset option for the Charge 2. This should not be an issue though. If your daughter creates a new fitbit account on her phone and sets up the Charge 2 as though it were a new device it will remove any data left on there. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2216/

Before she does that though, check your phone's bluetooth settings and remove any connection to the Charge 2 as this could block connection to your daughter's phone.

We’ve tried all that and it’s not working, won’t connect on my daughters account, turned blue tooth on/ off, took app off And put back on and none of it is working, the app just keeps searching and doesn’t find it but it’s still got my steps on there so hasn’t reset it from when I’ve taken it off my devices

The data on the fitbit won't be cleared until it is connected with the new account.

However, if it's not connecting and there is no link to it on your phone then I don't know what else to suggest. Hopefully someone else will be able to provide an answer.
