Failed to Sync Device error

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

For the last week I have been getting "Failed to Sync Device" on IOS app to a Charge 2.  I have rebooted the phone twice, the fitbit about 5 times, disconnected and reconnected - pretty much everything except hit the Fitbit with a large hammer (which might be my next move).

Prior to this week I have only gotten this error maybe once every couple of months, and usually turning off Bluetooth fixes it, but nothing I do will fix it this time.

Anyone have any suggestions (apart from the hammer option)?

Hi @MarkB_NZ, it's nice to see you again in our Community Forums. I am sorry for the delayed response.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the details of the issue you're experiencing with syncing your Fitbit Charge 2 to your iOS phone. Thank you for your efforts to resolve this. Syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement and I recommend confirming if you've followed the complete troubleshooting steps from this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Let me know if the issue persists, I'll be around.
