Faulty Charge 2 - Screen Jumping

Hi All,

I was wondering if you could help me with this.

I've a replacement fitbit charge 2 that before Christmas stopped working properly. One day the screens display went off centre and the display was patchy, not as it should be. After a trip to the forums and several resets it looked like the problem had remedied when all of a sudden it started vibrating and quickly jumping from one screen to the other, most notably initiating the breathing exercise almost on a loop.

I've exhausted the forums as best as I can and after, albeit optimistically, hoping that an extended period without use would at least let me begin troubleshooting procedures from scratch, it has been to no avail. I'm asking the community now is there any method I've blatantly overseen? I'm limited to what I can do with it as it's only one button besides doing resets. It still pairs with the phone but it's constant vibrating and resulting shortened battery life makes it an unusable accessory sadly. Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Christopher

@ChristMartin Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 is constantly vibrating and thank you so much for trying to troubleshoot this issue. Try cleaning the band and button area with cotton and rubbing alcohol. After this use compressed air at a distance to clear any dirt or debris that may be there. Finally retry restarting it and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes!

Hi again,

Sorry for delay, had difficulty sourcing can of compressed air, in the end had to order it online. Sadly, this was to no avail, although my keyboard's much cleaner!
Is there any other methods you can recommend. The actual interface, although it is showing the screens while jumping through them is completely unresponsive to my touch, or at least based on how the screen responds, that is what it seems like.

The rubbing alcohol and compressed air didn't make any noticeable difference.

Again, sorry for delay and hope to hear from you soon,
