Fitbit Charge 2 dies after removing from charger

I’ve had my Fitbit for a little over a year and then all of a sudden it stopped working. It first stopped detecting my heart rate and then days later it would  die as soon as I took it off the charger. I tried resetting the device as it was recommended but it did not work. The strange thing is that in my app it shows the battery is fully charged.

I tried contacting customer support and I got no solution to the problem. All they did for me was offer me a discount. Why would I purchase another Fitbit if the first one didn’t work.

Makes me sad that this company does not value their customers. I’ve been a strong advocate for Fitbit watches and convinced many friends to get one as well as bought a few as gifts for family. I regret doing so after this experience.

In regards to the 25% discount option as per our Warranty Policies please know that this is the best option to help you get back on track with the Fitbit family and I'm sure our Customer Support team will be more than glad to help you further with this. I understand you've invested in the Fitbit Family; however, we as any other company have policies to follow through.  While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently.

So there's no solution to the Fitbit discharging when you remove it from the charger? Mine's done this for pretty much the whole time I've owned it.
