Fitbit Charge 2 not syncing with Strava

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Up until a month ago soon as I finished a run it went straight over to Strava but it doesn’t anymore.

Ive tried un syncing Fitbit with Strava and visa versa turned phone off and on again reconnected both but still to no avail. At the moment I’m tracking with my Strava app on my phone which gives me segments but no heart rate, is there a fix for this!

Thanks for getting  back to us @smileyme. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to connect your Charge 2 with Strava.

Please confirm that you have followed these steps:

  1. Visit strava.fitbit.com and click Connect.
  2. Log in to your Strava account.
  3. When prompted, authorize Strava to connect to your Fitbit account and follow the on-screen instructions.

Your Fitbit activities will appear on Strava, and runs and rides tracked with Strava will contribute to your all-day Fitbit stats. To export your Fitbit GPS data to Strava, see How do I export my Fitbit account data?

Note that the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:

  • Non-GPS activities
  • Previous activities that weren’t tracked by Strava
  • Duplicate activities (if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync)

After you link your Fitbit and Strava accounts, you may see some differences in the way data is calculated for your exercises on each site. For more information, see Strava's Calorie Calculation article.

I hope this information helps.

Yes tried all these options un syncing re syncing deleting app re installing gone to my profile on Fitbit revoked access to Strava then gone back onto Strava connect new device added Fitbit again gone back to Fitbit and it’s there on my third party apps also was asked if my iPhone has the latest update yes it has and Fitbit and Strava are also up to date … at the moment I’m logging my runs with my Strava app on my phone so I get the map, local legends and elevation but without Fitbit I’m not getting my heart rate data and seeing as I pay premium with Strava I’m frustrated as Fitbit is blaming Strava and visa verca
