Fitbit Charge 2 not syncing

Yesterday and today I have tried all the trouble shooting tips, but my charge 2 still isn't syncing with the latest version of the app. Very frustrating!

Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You don't mention which steps you tried. Also which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

I have an iPhone 6 and I’ve tried the different steps you advised as well as resetting my charge 2 however it still won’t sync. Bluetooth doesn’t even recognise my charge 2 as a device anymore? This is Day 3 now now and the Fitbit is counting steps etc fine just can’t connect it to my phone to the Fitbit app. Not sure what else to try?

Mine will not either...looks like it hasn’t connected since the last 2 update ( 1-2 weeks).
