Fitbit Charge 2 not working

I am unable to turn on my fitbit and the button on the left side does not seem to work. I only used it for a year and had been experiencing this problem by the 13th month of using the fitbit. I was unable to find a store to fix the issue and I really don't know what to do with this anymore.

@nimishagk Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 2. Lets make sure that it is charging by cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.

Unfortunately you have encountered the battery failure in the charge 2 which Fitbit refuse to acknowledge. All they advise is the clean the charge points and inevitably when that doesn’t resolve the issue you will get the offer of a slightly reduced purchase price of another short-life product. Fitbit don’t care for after sales concerns.

Oh man, I think you are right. The problem was nothing regarding the
solution that was offered to me by the Fitbit team. Poor after-sales and
they don't even have a service centre internationally!

I have bought two Fitbits over past five years and my account will show how I have used it daily but unfortunately the after sales is awful. The charge 2 is no longer being made ..why can they not reply to customers affected by the battery problem by sending a replacement charge 2 which would cost little financially but provide greater wealth through reputation. Maybe the Google takeover will shake things up?
