Fitbit Charge 2 will not sync

Tried multiple times, failed to sync, multiple times to login on a PC to look for the problem. Why would someone go premium when they cannot get the free right. Very frustrating.

I'm having the same problem.  I think the app did an upgrade so wondering if that is the problem

I'm having the same problem.

Got an update of the Fitbit app on Tuesday in the afternoon.

Before the update everything has been synced. After the update no more syncing.

It says device not found.

 

This has happened once before. The problem went away after another update of the app.

Same problem. No more syncing since two days. Sometimes, after resetting the fitbit the steps does sync but not the sleeping etc.

And just to get this thread more notice i’m also having issues with synching.  Mine wont register exercise and struggles when i try to input calories.  Specifically been acting this way since Tuesday.  Does indeed seem like an update caused a bug that i hope they notice and fix.

I think it is just a ploy to get us to buy the Charge-3 which I understand is not as good as Charge 2! I am sick of Fitbit!! My Aria scale had to be reunited with my WiFi today. It jumped ship about the time of my last Charge-2 sync (Nov. 11th, 2019)  My Charge-2 will NOT be synced no matter what I do!!  I can't seem to find the appropriate help online or on my Android.  I have taken my Charge-2 off.  It's bothering my wrist anyway.  I think it is eating my wrist as it is sunken in where I have been wearing it!  Guess I'll go buy a battery for my real watch!! So frustrated!

I wouldnt be surprised.  The same way they make cars and phones outdated or requiring repair.  All to make more money.  
I have irritations on my wrist from where the battery rests as well.  
Once this Fitbit officially goes i will never buy another.

My last sync was Wednesday 7:32am.  Have restarted my phone, un-installed and re-installed app, restarted my fitbit still nothing.  I have not been able to get my phone/app to update the firmware either.  I try multiple times per week without success.  Very frustrating.

Same here.

I've tried literary everything from un-install and re-install, Log out then log in, I've even made a whole new account but nothing. Fitbit should  really consider fixing this issue ASAP!

I think it has something to do with your iPhone updating to the new iOS. Mine starting having issue ever since

I was on "chat" with fitbit this morning and she basically told me to everything I had already done.  Restarts, un-install, re-install.  When I said I done that she said there was nothing left to do but buy a new fitbit.  She even "managed" to get me a discount on a new device since mine was out of the warranty period.  Filled out the survey letting them know how disappointed I was.  Will have to decide if there is new Fitbit in my future.

A couple of days ago I received an update of the fitbit app (Android).

The app still says it can't find my charge2, but it started to sync again.

Exactly and it’s still going on. I’m getting very irritated with Fitbit for leaving us hanging. I just sent another email demanding they fix it. I can no longer get notifications since this happened

That would have pissed me off. If this is not fixed I will never purchase a Fitbit again and will never recommend them again. This is ridiculous.

Have you tried logging off app and clearing it and then try syncing it by logging back in just an idea
