Hi all,
My new Oppo R17 seems to be able to locate my FitBit via Bluetooth (says it is a paired device) but it is unable to sync the FitBit (or connect to it for the recent Firmware update).
So far I've:
-Restarted the FitBit
-Restarted the phone
-Restarted Bluetooth
-Checked permissions (FitBit is allowed to run in the background)
-Have an internet connection and have a charged battery
Not sure what else to do at this point. Thanks for any help.

Your phone is not on the list of Approved Devices so it may work for certain functions and not others.

Hey @HercyP93, I hope you are doing great and I want to thank you for trying some tips to connect your Oppo R17 with your Charge 2. Now let me ask you this, is your phone the Oppo R17 or the Oppo R17 Pro? If is the Pro, that is compatible, so you should have no inconveniences to sync, so I'd like you to try every troubleshooting in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit sync? But if is not the Pro, I can't guarantee that it'll work with the Fitbit devices.
Thanks for your help @SunsetRunner!
Let me know how it goes!

Hey thanks for that, the phone is not the pro and I haven't been able to connect it, so I instead decided to try to update it through my windows 10 computer and have had a few similar issues. I've been able to connect the Charge 2 with the computer (with a bit of effort), installed the latest Fitbit app on the laptop, removed all other Bluetooth devices. When I've tried to update the Fitbit, it says 'looking for tracker' and then says (after about 5 mins) ''In order to sync, please make sure to uninstall Fitbit connect or other apps that are trying to use the Fitbit station. I'm pretty sure I don't have Fitbit connect and I can't think what other apps would be trying to use it. Sorry for the essay but it would be good to get the FitBit to sync, I'm not too worried about losing the data I have if it comes to that, it's mostly that the watch itself is losing time!
Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your reply @HercyP93! The Oppo R17 is not a compatible device. The Oppo R17 Pro is. That is the main reason of the syncing issues. Now in regards of your computer, is it a Windows 10 or does it have a lower operation Windows system? In the meantime, I suggest you to take a look at the troubleshooting for PC in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I have an Oppo R17 an a Versa. I have the same problem. It was working perfectly until a week ago. All of sudden. Bluetooth not working. I did a hard reset on the Versa, now I cannot reconnect with the Fitbit app. I spoke to support from Fitbit who told me about the compatibility issues. Ironically I actually got the Fitbit because I was led to believe that it was able to connect to both Apple and Android. In truth, it is a dud.
