Fitbit Charge 2 won't turn back on

I haven't used my charge 2 for over a year. Today I put it on charge and turned it on, it said I had 100% battery so I used it straight away. After 5 hours or so it randomly turned off and now won't turn back on.

Is it because I haven't used it in so long? Or will it not work anymore?

Mine sometimes goes black after I put it on the charger. I usually put it back on the charger for about 10 minutes and then hold down the button until it comes back on. When this happened to me, I couldn't find an article explaining how to reset a Charge 2, only a Charge, so maybe I was actually just resetting it (I wouldn't know). It also may be updating if you have automatic updates turned on. Give it some time and charge it again for a bit and if that doesn't work, contact customer support.
