Fitbit Charge 3 Not Tracking Sleep Stages

I've had the Charge 3 for 4 days, it tracked Sleep for 2 days then stopped.  I tried setting it to Sensitive on my computer and I get an error message "Oops something went wrong" but nothing tells me what or why.  Additionally, it won't swipe left for settings on the unit itself like the instructions and video show.  Is it defective?  I've uninstalled, reset, updated the firmware...what else can I do?

My fitbit 3 quit keeping my sleep pattern about a month ago what do I need to do to get it back? Thanks

Not solved.  My charge 3 simply doesn't track sleep accurately.  The charge2 was fairly on target, but the C3 is sort if a waste of time when it comes to sleep trackin .

And, no.  It fits fine, is up to date, syncs wonderfully, and all of those other overly enthusiastic but mostly mindless suggestions fail to fix the problem.

The Charge3 just doesn't track sleep accurately.

None of the recommendations work. I’ve been begging for a solution, likely a firmware update since January. Moderator? Any fixes from Fitbit?

Hopefully the more we complain the more likely the moderator will be to tell Fitbit that a lot of us are complaining about the Charge 3 not tracking sleep. The moderator has actually deleted my posts because I was complaining and didn’t offer a solution. Unbelievable to me. Good luck to you.

I actually was able to get a replacement from Fitbit. Guess what... still does not work SMH.

Remove it from your phone and reinstall it. It will help for awhile.

The last upgrade to my Charge 3's software has caused syncing and exercise
tracking to consistently fail miserably. Just unbelievably shoddy
engineering.

No thank you - turning on and off airplane mode works just fine, and
doesn't take as long as reinstalling the app.

me too.  I got the replacement and still not recording sleep stages.

the reply I got was because my LG V40 is not one of the compatible devices with Fitbit.  How to explain I used to get sleep stages in May and never again.  I bought my phone in Mar.

I am using Samsung 10+. So is my wife. Hers records with no issues. so does one of my good friends. It seems there is a problem with either software , firmware or hardware.

Come on FITBIT, get on the stick

I purchased a Charge 3 in May - for the first couple of weeks it recorded Sleep Stages, but since has only given sleep hours - I have tried all recommended positioning of tracker to no avail - could it be faulty?

Not sure. My c3 never consistantly track sleep correctly. So, I got the
versa 2. No difference. It may be a firmware issue across the board

Mine quit tracking sleep after the app update this week.  It second time that has happened.  I  had to uninstall and reinstall the last time and it had worked most of the time  but not accurately.  Some nights it just would not start tracking for 2 to 4 hours and most every time it was when I  knew I had slept my best nights. I  first bought a Versa and it was a total waste  for tracking sleep.  So switched it to my husband and still a no go for him. Then I  buy the Charge 3. So disgusted. It will  go in the drawer.  I  am done

I was a loyal Fitbit user for 2 years, but gave it up because the watch simply refused to track my sleep accurately. I'm VERY pleased with my Amazfit Bip.  Good Luck
