Fitbit Charge 4 not working

Twice this week my fitbit Charge 4 has just randomly stopped working. I set it to register my activities on Tuesday and this evening while swimming then come to stop the timer, screen black and unable to turn on. Connect to charger, once connected turns on, plenty of battery and have reset it. Activities not recorded once able to check. Why is this happening?

Thank you for providing the details regarding Charge 4. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own. 

Seems like for some reason the battery is draining. Please make sure checking up the points listed in this help article: What are tips to extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
