Stumped as to why, after 2 years of faithful use, my Fitbit Charge HR2 stopped connecting to my phone a week ago and refuses to repair. Phone: Blackberry BBD100-2, Android version 8.1.0
Process I have tried already:
1) turn Bluetooth on/off (many times) and also disconnected any other possible conflicting Bluetooth devices around such as speakers)
2) restart phone (many times)
3) tried connecting through the app
4) tried connecting through Bluetooth
5) removed the device (losing any stored info) and now it will no longer reconnect device
6) Connected to charger and held down button 8 seconds and tried to add device to my phone again
7) Now I get to the point of getting the 4 digit number PIN to insert into screen...and it hands and sticks
😎 also trying via direct connection to my laptop w/windows
After a week of this without progress, I ask the hive mind for help.
Suggestions?

@Veebr It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I would like to follow up on the syncing issues that you are experiencing with your Charge 2. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Since you mentioned that you have a Blackberry phone, I'd like you to check out if your phone is listed in this help article, which has a list of the supported devices that sync with Fitbit trackers. If your phone is not listed, this might be the reason why your tracker doesn't sync with it.
As a side note, please let me know if you have tried connecting your Charge 2 with another phone that is compatible.
Looking forward to your response! 😀
