Fitbit Charge HR - I was originally given my 1st tracker in late 2017 as a birthday gift from my daughter and after 6 months of normal use the pink attachment at the back where the cable for charging goes in came loose, I contacted fitbit with proof of purchase and photos and they agreed on a replacement they sent exactly the same model to me, this one lasted less than 3 months exactly the same defect again it was replaced my 3rd replacement which lasted less than 9 months and again the same defect, on contacting fitbit I was told this was a common issue and that they had stopped with that particular model all fine on fitbits part but my gift was almost £150 which is very expensive for a badly made activity tracker. Fitbit have now declined to replace this as my "original tracker - the one that lasted 6 months" is now out of guarantee" they have offered me 25% discount on a new tracker if I purchase it on their online store - by looking at reviews on the trustpilot page I am certain it would be a complete waste of money.
I have now ordered a unbranded tracker which has excellent reviews at 4 times less than what fitbit charge.
My advice to anyone is to think twice about getting a fitbit activity tracker, read all the reviews first.

Exactly.
Poor quality product at an inflated price.
Planned obsolescence is included at no extra charge, however.
Everyone gets offered a 25% discount but if you're really lucky, they'll send you out a free replacement but with the exact same build quality.
