Bought 2 Fitbit Charge 3s in June 2019
One had dim screen problem from start, finally replaced by Fitbit after 3 support calls in January 2020
Now that replacement stopped syncing with iPhone
Follow numerous threads to remove device, uninstall app, turn off bluetooth, reset device, reset phone, re-enable bluetooth, download latest app, try to set up Charge 3, stuck after entering 4 digit code...
Tried connecting it to another family member's Charge 3 and that one connected ok. So it seems like my device itself is the issue.
Spending FARRRRRR too much time researching articles, forum posts, and hours with tech support for a $120 fitness tracker. Problem after problem. About time to give up on this product entirely and switch to something better. I thought things would improve once Google bought Fitbit, but apparently not. Maybe less time focused on harvesting our data and selling us premium plans, and more time making the hardware itself work like it should???

Hope this helps. On your watch you will need to turn off “Do not Disturb” and “Sleep Mode”
On your Watch:
1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to Do Not Disturb & select off
3. then scroll to Sleep Mode & select off
Once this is done you will start getting the vibrations from calls and texts. (This will not affect your alarm settings. The alarm will still alert & vibrate.) Also, make sure all notifications are turned on from your Fitbit app.
Plus, if you have an iPhone Go to Settings then Notifications. (Select the app for Phone and Messages and/or any other messenger) Make sure Allow Notifications is on and Show Previews is on Always. As well as Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banner are all checked with a check marks.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for trying. Was hopeful this would help, but it did not. Stuck at same point. Another hour or so troubleshooting. Disappointed and frustrated.
