Fitbit Stolen

Hi,

my house was broken into during the night last week and many things were taken, including my fitbit charge 3. I'm wondering if there is any way to view activity from my stolen fitbit within the last week so that I may track it down. Thank you

Hi @Lukefaygan  I've notified a moderator to stop by to assist you. Is your Charge 3 still connected to your account? If someone has removed it from the account by setting it up under their own, you wouldn't see it listed. You can see when it was last able to sync, too. Sorry this happened to you. I hope law enforcement is able to find out who did this.

Thanks for the reply. It still shows up as connected within the app but it hasnt been synced for a while. Just hoping there may be some way to track its whereabouts or maybe even the night it was stolen.

Since there is no GPS in a Charge 3, it can't be tracked that way. It is probably not close enough to you to sync to your app, so no info there.

Would be interesting if your Charge 3 gets added to a different account as a result of the theft, is there a way for Fitbit to identify this? Can Fitbit do that  with your serial number? But, at best Fitbit may just have the email address associated with that account.

Good luck.

@Lukefaygan I hope you're doing well!

Sorry to hear about your missing Fitbit device. Fitbit doesn't have a way to locate your missing, or in this case, stolen device. We can suggest that you please reach out to your local police department so you can file a report.

@Odyssey13 @Travlr thank you for sharing your insights about this situation.

Let me know how it goes.
