Fitbit charge 2 battery

I’ve been a Fitbit customer for a few years. I had the charge HR which just recently died on me. I understand that happens. I just got turn charge 2 last week. Everyday my battery has been draining. I called earlier today and spoke with a nice gentleman who explained the battery test. He told me to call back. They said they can replace my Fitbit but I need to send mine back first. I requested to speak with a supervisor as I dont expect to keep two Fitbit’s but I also shouldn’t be without one for a week or two. I then spoke with a supervisor who basically said they won’t replace it with a new one; it’ll be used. Of course I can’t find the box I got it in from target and they won’t take it back without it. I now have a $130 piece of plastic that is useless. I’m infuriated. Never had I had such a awful customer service in my life!! I’m spreading the word to everyone: don’t buy a Fitbit!!

Sorry to hear of your problems, @Sackster77.  It is a shame you cannot find the original box & receipt from Target, so you could return it with their 30-day policy.

If you are sending it back to Fitbit do you need the box to send it back, cant you just package it up, and send it to them with a note inside and maybe an RMA # from them.

It seems highly unusual that they would replace your faulty tracker with a used one unless yours is out of warranty.  I know you'd really like to have your Charge 2 on all the time to track your steps, but it's worth sending yours in to get a properly working one!  Fitbit sends out replacements pretty darn quickly.  I had to have 2 of the Charge HRs replaced due to warranty issues and I got them in less than a week.  Hack to save your sanity in the future: take a picture of your new Fitbit product, in the package (all sides of the box), plus your receipt and any additional warranty and keep in a warranties folder.  Saved me on my last Fitbit.  I paid $18 for a 2 yr. extended warranty via Target and it was the best investment ever!

Their customer service used to be excellent but in the past year or 2 they have really gone down hill along with their products!!!  I originally had the charge hr, the band broke so they replaced the whole Fitbit. Now I’m having serious issues with my charge 2 battery. It won’t charge no matter what I try and I’ve tried several different options. Same as you I’m stuck with a tracker that doesn’t work. So glad I gave Fitbit $149 for some plastic.  I’ll be getting an Apple Watch next. Fitbit, I'm done with you and I tell everyone I meet how terrible your customer service has become.

Same thing has happened to me! This is my fourth Fitbit. However, it seems like their products always die out after that two-year mark. Figure this time I might as well buy an Apple Watch at this point

Lol funny you say that! I've literally had with Apple and their iPhone
with their updates! They recently did an update and automatically turned
on "wifi assist" Obviously I had no idea this was even a thing but within
2 days it used ALL MY DATA FOR THE DATA!!! The day after I found this out
I went back to Android and got a Galaxy Note which I absolutely love!! So,
needless to say, I will be selling my Apple Watch Series 3!!!! I'M SO OVER
APPLE. Also, I've always disliked the Apple watch app. The Fitbit app is
much better. IMO
