Fitbit charge 3 face very dim

The face on my charge 3 Has been getting dimmer and dimmer over the last month. I can no longer even see it in the dark. I have done a hard reset to no avail as well as changing the clock face. Is this a hardware or a software problem?  I have had my charge 3 since November 2018, the watch was replaced in January 2019 as it didn’t hold any charge. I understand it is no longer under warranty But I really expected it to last longer than this.

I'm sorry to hear that the face of your Fitbit Charge 3 is not as bright as it used to be. Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue before contacting us.
