A while ago my Fitbit got wet and then was spazzing and now after it is dry I can’t get the screen to turn on. It is black and you can see the green light in the bottom and it buzzes like everyone else’s. But it is no longer a device on my app and I can’t connect it to the app unless I can see the screen for the number. Is there another way to get the number so I can try the other things that were suggested?

I put it on the charger and it fixed it. I also googled it and it says put it on the charger then hold the left button for eight seconds and it will reboot.

I’m sorry, I’ve already tried that and it still doesn’t work. Nothing shows up on the screen. I’ve tried holding if for longer and everything I’ve seen but I would need the code to connect it to my Fitbit but I can’t do that unless I can see the screen.

I did all the suggested things with Fitbit support staff in tow but didn't resolve it. But as my Charge 3 was only 7 months old they did send me a replacement. For the record, the story goes bad at the end as within another 7 months, the replacement also now died as it can no longer hold charge. If Fitbit suggests a replacement, don't go for Charge 3. See if they will let you instead have the Charge 4 with hopes that is a better product.
