The list of participating banks supporting contactless payments in the U.K. via Fitbit Charge 3 SE only has one that I have heard of. Santander. Is this correct? Doesn’t it support ordinary bank visa debit cards in the same way as Apple Pay?

Fitbit pay supports the banks that have agreed to come on board. If your banknis not on the list lobby your bank.

That's a pretty curt response! Basically go away and sort it yourself. The list of Ameican banks is pretty long, I guess don't rate as highly here in the UK!

@Nicoladavies Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
At the moment, there is actually no information if Fitbit Pay will be connecting with visa in the UK. However, once any update be available it will be communicated as soon as possible.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch at any moment.

Thanks to all who have replied and contributed to my post. I had been considering the purchase of a Fitbit Charge 3, but as it doesn’t seem to be ready for the UK market, I won’t be buying!
I don’t recall having to ‘lobby my bank’ to get Visa supported by Apple Pay.........

hello. what is the solution for us that do not have in their countries a bank that supports fitbit pay? are there any banks that do support it and are able to open an account via internet? usually such pyments are in small value so i would open an account at any bank worldwide and use it just for the convenience of paying with fitbit pay.

Hi , I don’t think opening a new bank account for fitpay I’d really an option ? Will Visa be coming on board in the future ?
Kind regards

I bought a Fitbit versa on the pretence of it saying being used to pay for things and to now find out that I can't is very misleading.
I will not be recommending any Fitbit product to people

Hi Kellyal
Fitbit are missing out on the UK market by not being able to offer our mainstream banks.
I certainly wouldn’t entertain the idea of opening a bank account specifically to enable Fitbit pay, and I think Fitbit should emphasise on the packaging that prospective purchasers should check whether their products are going to meet the needs of UK buyers.
