Fitbit tracking privacy issue

I own charge hr 3. Enabled always on location, which would automatically track while running to avoid opening app when I enabled track only while using app location service.

 

I went on 4 hrs drive which I never got down the car except once for gas. Apple shows me fitbit used 42 time of my location which cover entire trip.

 

Can someone suggest why Fitbit needs my location tracking when I drive.
