So I did the update 3 days ago thinking great my GPS will work again. It doesn't work - it drops after less than a mile. I've tried all the tricks from customer services including rebooting device but still nothing! Also, on my my health metrics, the breathing rate no longer records my data. I appreciate that Fitbit have spent time and effort on the launch of the new devices recently, but they can't ignore customers who have older devices, who have been loyal for years. If they can't fix our issues which are a Fitbit issue, not a user issue, then they can't expect us to want to upgrade with them again. Please Fitbit, sort out the basics. Thank you.

Hi there @Needsacoffee., it's good to have you in the Community.
I understand how you feel about this situation. I'd recommend you check these articles, How do I track breathing rate in the Fitbit app? and How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?.
Also you can try to follow these steps to restart your device.

Sadly, despite you being one of many, the help offered here doesn’t help normally, in that fitbit/Google won’t admit to an issue that has plagued fitbit charge users from the start.
I have stopped using gps, tried after each software update and phone replacement. Its sohit and miss as to be as much use as the support they offer .
Staff regardless of their experience and abilities (some are good) STILL have to follow company policy and than can and does exclude admitting that faults exsist and are long term with almost no chance of resolution
