Just gone on a ride and got some very conflicting data which is really frustrating as I was attacking hard (for me) today, so I'm hoping someone can help me please. Summary as follows:
FitBit Charge 2 recorded: 21.33 miles, 1:36:55 min and 13.2 mph average
Strava recorded the following having automatically synced the FitBit to Strava: 21.3 miles, 1:26:16 min and 14.8 mph average but missed about 12 segments as the FitBit seems to have straight lined quite a few roads and cut off corners leading to a number of missed segments.
CatEye wireless bike computer calibrated to my wheel size which is a 700c - 25 recorded: 28.2 miles, 1:35:47 mins and 17.6 mph average.
Incidentally, having mapped the route on Stava before I went I know it should have been 28.3 miles so I am inclined to trust the CatEye more than the GPS devices.
My question is what's going on and how do I best proceed? Should I record rides on Strava and not bother with the Charge 2 which means I dispense with heart rate data on Strava, or is there an issue with GPS that can be rectified on FitBit?
