GPS signal dropping out Charge4

If I run with Fitbit and phone -I normally get a really good gps track. However with fitbit only, even if it finds a signal it often gives up half way, even on a 5k run in a park with no trees or obstructions to line of sight.

Other GPS trackers are fine- what’s the issue with Charge4s and will it be fixed?

I just got my Charge 4 five days ago and I thought it was just because of the cloudy skies. I get full GPS coverage when using my phone outdoors but with my Charge 4, a big chunk of my usual route is missing. I turned the GPS settings to "ON" instead of "DYNAMIC" to be sure but still got this.1Walk23Dec23.jpg
