Goal Day Trophy

I am never awarded with the Goal Day Trophy despite hitting my goal daily. I have searched this and it is an ongoing problem going back to 2015 at least! Why not just take the challenge off completely if it can't be fixed? It's so frustrating when things don't work properly!

Hi, @Andreawain27, you do not get this trophy automatically simply by meeting your goal each day (though you do get a green star!).  You must actually be in a goal day challenge with friends -- i.e. someone (you or another friend) must start a challenge and invite others to join in.  Then everyone in the challenge who meets their goal will get the trophy.

The goal day challenge is a way for peope with very different abilities to compete.  Everyone who meets their goal gets the trophy, and the person with the highest percent of their goal wins.  If your goal is, say 10,000 steps, and your friend's goal is 20,000 steps and you achieve 12,000 in the challenge and your friend achieves 20,000, you win -- because you made 120% of your goal and your friend only made 100 %.

Last Saturday was a special Goal Day 2017. This is a once a year event where the idea is to get as many people join the challange to teach your daily goal.. The goal is to have the highest amount of steps ever recorded in a single day.

I didn't mean that one I meant the normal one. That one was called Goal Day 2017 and I got a badge for that one.

I do enter it most days so am aware of this, it does state you only need one player so you don't need to play with friends.

@Andreawain27 these are the pages where a v user may start or join a challenge,  your badges and trophies will not be seen here.

I'm not sure what country your in, if in the USA, press the Community Tab - Friends - You - Badges and Trophies. Screenshot_2017-05-23-14-39-56.png

When I click on Trophy collection I get the screen I posted earlier. Personal best is the only Trophy I have been awarded which is part of the Goal day challenge but it never gives me the

Goal completed one that you have despite me entering many times

Yesterday I invited my sister to the Goal Day Challenge and I finally got the trophy!!!! It is a bit misleading as it says it is a challenge for 1-10 players but apparently you need 2! At least i've finally got the trophy though!

That is not what the Goal Day trophy is about .

A few years ago Fitbit set aside the third Saturday of May the encourage all Fitbit users to meet there goal day on File bit Goal day. Fitbit was looking to get more steps recorded on this day than ever. If the user hit their goal on this day then they received the Goal Day Challange badge.

If you read all my previous comments you will see that the point I was making is that it states 1-10 players but you can’t win the trophy if you play alone so it should really say 2-10 or make itself clearer that you will only get the goal day trophy if others join you. Don’t really see your point in relation to this. Unless you are telling me you have to play on a Thursday to win it? Confused 🤷‍:female_sign:

The personal Best trophy is not apart of the Goal Day Challenge that the Goal Day Trophy is awarded for hitting your goal in the official Fitbit Goal day.

The Peranal best is simply a trophy for doing more steps in a day than the user has previously done .

It is this Perenal daily message of daily achievements on meeting daily goals that I haven’t received since June. It really encourages me  to meet or exceed my daily goals. Please help restor it.

I have had the same problem with my flex 2 - it tells me I am a winner, but a trophy for the goal never shows up whether I am competing by myself or with others in the goal day. My personal best is the only one that has ever appeared even though it says I have won almost every day. A little thing but very frustrating. I work hard to qualify for all the trophy’s and no matter what I do this doesn’t ever show up. I,be even reached all 6 goals I set for the day thinking it wanted more than steps even though it said steps. Nope, still no trophy.

@soccersnapsback in 2016 and 2017 Fitbit choose the 3rd Saturday in May as Goal Day. A day set aside for for those that enrolled to hit their daily goal. They idea was for Fitbit to record more steps on a single day then they ever counted in a single day.

The Goal Day award went to those users that joined and hit their daily goal on Fitbits Goal Day. (3rd Saturday in May).

In 2018 and 2019 we did not have a goal day challenge.
