Hi. I've spend several hours trying to setup my new Charge 3 using my very standard Windows 10 desktop computer. Using the Fitbit app from the Microsoft Store, I can enter the 4 digit code from the watch face to begin the download, but then I immediately get a check mark on the watch face, followed about 1 second later by a white progress bar on the watch face. After waiting several hours, the progress bar is still there but shows no progress. I've done all the recommended troubleshooting steps multiple times, but always end up at the same point during setup (progress bar on watch face with no progress). Has anyone been able to successfully setup a Charge 3 using a Windows 10 desktop?

Does your Fitbit app show that your Charge 3 is connected to your Fitbit account?
What your describing sounds like the tracker is already setup and your having a problem installing the firmware.
Is the Fitbit app the one https://www.fitbit.com/setup directed you to?

Thanks for the reply. After spending more time working on this, I now think the white line I see is not a progress bar, but is the thin white horizontal line that many other people have reported even when not using Windows 10. The Charge 3 does show up in the app. In fact, I have repeatedly "removed device" and then gone through the add device procedure during my trouble shooting. Also, I see the Charge 3 icon listed in my computer's Bluetooth list, but it never says connected under the icon, which I think it is supposed to. Note that my computer shows the Bluetooth LE 4.0 emulator, as well as three other versions of Bluetooth. I am using the Fitbit app from the Windows store.
It looks to me like the firmware download never occurs. I assume that this is supposed to take a significant period of time, but when I am trying to do it, it immediately (few seconds) skips to a screen that says "This is the moment your wrist has been waiting for," I see a check mark on the tracker screen for a second or so, and then I just get the white horizontal line. I can't reboot the tracker or anything.
At this point I don't know if the problem is with the Windows 10 setup routine or the phone itself, or maybe the first failed Windows 10 setup has now permanently messed up the phone. I don't know if the tracker could still be setup with a smartphone (which I don't have), but I suspect at this point it is just dead.
