When my wife goes out for a long one hour walk she finds that the heart rate on the Charge 2 occasionally spikes from the normal 80/110 bpm to 170/190 bpm. This is now happening every day and is becoming quite a worry. There are no heart palpitations and doctors confirm there's nothing wrong with my wife's heart. So it must be the Fitbit that must be going bonkers.
Have any other users had the same problem? If yes how did you solve it? I tried calling Fitbit Customer Care but as yet I could not get a satisfactory answer or a resolution to this problem.

@LouSch Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!
Let me help you with your wife's Charge 2 heart rate reading spiking and thank you for reaching out to our Support team. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.
