Heart rate is now broken

I bought this fit bit a couple of years ago, within 6 months the band was broken and it kept falling off.  In fact, I nearly lost it whilst riding my bike.  As a consequence one day it went in a drawer until I came to move house last year when I found it again.  I contacted Fitbit told them about my unhappiness over a product that was not fit for purpose.  I guess they can track the activity via my account so I think they knew I was lying and the dutifully agree to replace the strap. 

 

I then subsequently used it for a number of months afterwards, before again it went back in the drawer because I couldn't find the charger one day.  However, following Christmas I wanted to get back to exercise so I started wearing it again.  One month later - no heart rate recording and the sleep has gone too. I have tried all the suggest restart, on/auto sync, etc and it still doesn't work. 

 

Now I must have worn this watch in total a maximum of 8/9 months since I bought it - and it's broken AGAIN.  Don't think I'll be ever buying a Fitbit again put it that way.
