My Charge 3 does not log heart rate when I GPS track exercise during the session. If I manually log the same run after the event, then Fitbit shows the heart rate against this exercise but I lose the GPS tracking. Why is this?

I tried starting my walk from the Charge 3 yesterday and I did not get the gps map. I only Have heart rate/ zones, calories and steps. No map no split times or average times announced.
Im reviewing my settings and will try again tomorrow.

I tried to log another walk today but it could only record Pace, HR, etc but no map... it is not quite stable. Will try again.

WTF Fitbit, solve this already!

This problem, and fitbits prolonged failure to resolve it, along with the fact my device thinks I've climbed 100s of floors per day, are some key reasons why my next tracker will not be a fitbit

Is your issue resolved related to the heart rate and GPS? I still have the same problem.

Having read the extensive responses to this issue over a couple years, and seeing that Fitbit still has not addressed this issue, I will be returning my new Charge 4. It's a shame, but if I can't use gps and still get my heart rate, the device is not really useful to me; I'll just get a heart monitor strap and use strava.

I just recently started tracking with GPS and noticed this occurring too. All my auto-detected exercise activities show my heart rate, but my GPS tracked activities do not. Why in the world would they *remove* functionality?!

To day is 4.25.22 and this is still not solved. I have the same problem. Starting an excercise from the app to enable GPS and recording pace, the heart rates is not recorded. Do I start the excercise from the fitbit, I get the heart rate, but poor pace and distance, and no GPS. I have version 20001.88.11. App, phone and fitbit have been restarted and updated.
