I just upgraded from a charge 2 to a charge 3. It won’t continuously monitor my heartrate for starters. It’s intermittent at best. And my sleep tracking is way off. Some nights, there is no data recorded at all. If I do get any data, the times are totally wrong. It’s telling me I’m getting an average of 2-3 hours. I don’t want to manually enter my sleep and wake up times as that is one of the reasons I have the Fitbit in the first place. I have done multiple resets on the device, I’ve checked every possible setting to make sure they are what they should be to include sleep sensitivity and making sure the heartrate is set to “on”. I’m no technology wizard, but I’m pretty confident that I’ve exhausted all options at this point. I can’t even get the live chat with support to work on this website!!! Does anyone have any advice before I return this thing and ask for a refund? Beyond frustrated.

I should probably add that I’m using an Android device and that I had NO issues with my Charge 2 working properly.

I don't have a solution, but rather just a desire to second all of your issues. My alarms also do not go off.
One of the main features I wanted when I upgraded from my Alta was the heartrate/advanced sleep tracker.
Can someone from Fitbit help? I'm about to return my device.

In the same boat. Two calls to the support hotline have lost my last two days data in some cases, and I've followed all the steps being asked. No real answers from two different support individuals. Have me going through their script of the same things - reboot fitbit, re-sync, hope it works tonight. And each morning lately I have to sync my fitbit by connecting to the charger.
Really getting frustrated with this.
